You can also contact your local Social Services department who will be able to undertake an assessment to identify the level of care you require.
Once you are confident that you know the type of home that can meet your needs, then you need to identify the area you wish to consider living in and identify the homes that are present in that area. Again this can be done by talking with your GP or your local Social Service Department. Either of the two will be available to supply you with a list of directory of care homes in your area. Also speak with your friends to see if they know, or have had experience of care homes in the area you are interested in.
